Source notes: District Court Typing Test Practice

Documents and practice limits

Last checked 2026-09-07. India has hundreds of district courts, each recruiting typists, readers and clerks under its own state's rules, so no single timer or speed figure could describe all of them. 35 WPM English and 30 WPM Hindi over 15 minutes are this site's working numbers, chosen to be a reasonable middle ground rather than copied from any one court's notice.
