These Terms govern your use of Sarkari Exam Typing. By using the Platform or buying a plan, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Who we are

Sarkari Exam Typing ("we", "us", "the Platform") is solely owned by Nitin Mathuria, based in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, India. Nitin works with the Sarkari Exam Typing team to operate the service. You can contact us at support@sarkariexamtyping.com. Our domains are sarkariexamtyping.com and sarkariexamtyping.org.

2. What the Platform does

The Platform is a practice tool that simulates the typing tests used in Indian government recruitment (for example SSC, RRB, high courts, and state boards). It provides passages, timers, key rules, and scoring intended to resemble real exam conditions.

3. No affiliation, and accuracy of exam rules & scoring

We are an independent private service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB), any High Court, any State Government, any exam vendor, or any recruitment authority. Exam names are used only to describe the practice content. Exam rules, speeds, and patterns are our best interpretation of publicly available information and may differ from the current official notification. Always rely on the official notification of the concerned authority.

Scoring and marking vary from exam to exam and are approximate. The way we calculate speed, words per minute, key depressions, mistakes (including full and half mistakes), error percentage, marks, and pass or fail status is configured separately for each exam from our own research of publicly available notifications, result sheets, and, where available, court judgments. These calculations are only intended to resemble the official evaluation. We do not guarantee that any score, speed, error count, mistake classification, or result shown on the Platform will exactly match the result of the actual examination, which may use different formulas, mistake definitions, rounding, fonts, keyboard layouts, software, and hardware.

Some exam rules depend on the recruitment cycle, post, grade, state, or candidate category, and a few values in our system are estimates or marked as draft. Where a rule is uncertain we use our best estimate, and it may change without notice as newer official information becomes available. For Hindi in particular, on-screen speed may differ from official key-depression counting depending on the keyboard layout. Verify the exact rules in the current official notification before relying on them.

4. Accounts and licences

• The free content includes five passages in each language, every English lesson and the first lesson in each other keyboard layout. It needs no account, can be repeated and does not expire. The other passages and lessons require a valid licence.
• Paid access uses an activation key linked to the email supplied at purchase. Keep the key private. Its continued validity as a sign-in credential does not extend a time-limited plan.
• A paid licence is for a single individual. You may use your licence across your own devices. We record signed-in browsers/apps so you can review sessions and remotely revoke access; activating a device beyond the three-device limit revokes the least recently active device. Sharing, reselling, or transferring a licence is not permitted.
• Licences are sold for 1, 3 or 6 months, or as a Lifetime licence. A Lifetime licence does not expire; the time-limited ones stop working at the end of their term.
• One licence covers both surfaces: the same activation key works on this website and in the Sarkari Exam Typing app for Windows.
• Plans are one-time purchases. They do not auto-renew and no card is stored for automatic charging. To continue after expiry, you buy again.
• You are responsible for keeping your access and devices secure. We record signed-in browsers/apps so you can review sessions, remotely sign them out, protect paid access, and investigate suspected sharing.
• Changing your own device is not, by itself, proof of licence sharing. We may investigate suspicious activity and restrict access where we have evidence of misuse. You can ask support to review a device restriction or suspension.

5. Prices and payments

• Payments are processed by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
• We are an individual seller and are not registered under GST; the price you see is the final price and no GST is separately charged. If our tax status changes, we will update this page.
• Launch or festival offer prices are temporary. The price of a future purchase may differ depending on the offer active at that time. The current price is always shown before you pay.
• Access is activated only after payment is confirmed by verified server records.

6. Refunds

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds after activation. This does not exclude refunds or other remedies for deficient service, access that does not match what was advertised, duplicate payment, failed delivery, billing errors, or other cases required by law. Agreeing to immediate access does not waive these rights. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Try the free passages and lessons before buying.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not copy, scrape, redistribute, or republish our passages or content.
• Do not attempt to bypass licensing, payment, or security controls.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, patch, or modify the desktop application except where applicable law permits it. Do not bypass, spoof, disable, or tamper with device tracking or licence checks.
• Do not use automated tools to extract content or overload the service.
• We may suspend or terminate access for a serious breach of these Terms. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request review. Urgent security action may be taken first. Any refund decision remains subject to your statutory rights.

8. Content and intellectual property

All software, passages, scoring logic, design, and branding on the Platform are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Platform for your own exam preparation only.

9. No guarantee of results

The Platform is a practice aid. We do not guarantee any particular typing speed, exam result, selection, or outcome. Real exams may use different software, fonts, hardware, and rules. The marks, speed, and error results shown are indicative practice figures and may not equal the marking or evaluation of the official test (see Section 3).

10. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and content may be added, corrected, or removed. This does not remove our responsibility to supply the paid service described at purchase or provide remedies required by law. The Windows app may require an internet connection for activation, licence checks, purchases and updates. Offline progress is stored on that device and is not guaranteed to sync to the website.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount paid for the purchase giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including statutory consumer remedies. This clause does not override the refund rights described above.

12. Age

If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will post changes with a new "last updated" date. For material changes affecting an existing paid plan, we will provide notice through the service or the purchase email. An update will not retrospectively remove an accrued refund right or shorten a purchased plan. Where a change requires your agreement, we will ask for it.

14. Governing law and grievances

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from approaching a competent consumer commission, including one available where you reside or work, or another statutory authority.

For any grievance, contact our Grievance Officer, Nitin Mathuria, at grievance@sarkariexamtyping.com. We will acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month of receipt. We will provide a complaint reference in our acknowledgement so you can ask for an update. Include your purchase email, order reference if applicable, and a description of the problem. You may also contact the National Consumer Helpline.
