Documents and practice limits
Checked 2026-09-16 against the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board's guidelines for the Clerk Grade-II and Junior Assistant Phase-II typing speed and efficiency test, dated 12.12.2024. Phase-II is four computer-based papers, each 10 minutes and 25 marks, each needing 9 marks to qualify, with up to 5 per cent relaxation in the minimum for SC and ST candidates: Hindi typing speed, English typing speed, Hindi efficiency and English efficiency. In the speed papers the English passage is 500 words and the Hindi passage 400, with 0.05 marks for each correct English word and 0.0625 for each correct Hindi word. The guidelines list what earns no marks: a wrong letter, word or digit; an omission; a repeated letter, word, digit or line; punctuation not reproduced as given; word-spacing errors; capitals and small letters not as given in English; matras not as given in Hindi; invisible repeated matras that the computer still counts wrong; and letters typed with the wrong key sequence. Entry to the centre closes one hour before the start, and the Board publishes a separate mock test link. This practice page covers the speed papers only; the efficiency papers are described below but are not simulated here. Check the current RSSB notice for your own recruitment.
