Checked 2026-09-16 against PSSSB Advertisement No. 02 of 2026, page 6, paragraph 7 items iv to vi: the typing test is taken on a computer in English and Punjabi at 30 words per minute, Punjabi in Unicode Compliant Font Raavi, and it is qualifying and compulsory to pass, with the Common Merit List built from the Part-B written marks of candidates who pass. The corrigendum dated 21.08.2026 reopened applications and fixed the count at 531 Clerk posts; it leaves paragraph 7 items iv to vi unchanged. Paragraph 7 items xii and xiv say the Board issues admit cards and every instruction about the typing test on its own website only, which is why the exam-day detail below is not in the advertisement. The 10-minute duration, the 8% error limit and the ten-chunk screen come from a Board circular and candidate guides found only on third-party sites, not from sssb.punjab.gov.in. Check the Board's website before relying on any requirement.
