How the typing test is actually scored
This isn't a plain words-per-minute count. RSSB's own Phase-II guidelines, dated 12 December 2024, score it per correct word: 0.05 marks for each correct English word and 0.0625 for each correct Hindi word, over a 10-minute passage, capped at 25 marks per language. A 9-mark score is the qualifying line in each language — that works out to 180 correct English words or 144 correct Hindi words.
