Source notes: UP Police (Computer Operator) Typing Test Online

Documents and practice limits

Last checked 2026-09-21 against the UP Police Computer Staff rules, 2011 (F26) and 2015 first amendment (F27): 30 WPM English and 25 WPM Hindi, one 85% accuracy standard for both, Hindi on a Unicode InScript keyboard, and qualifying-only treatment with merit from written-examination marks. The rules state no typing duration or passage length; this page's 15-minute sections and approximately 500-word passage are simulator settings, as are its editing controls.
