About this practice test
This page gives you a 10-minute BSSC (Inter Level) typing practice test. You can practise in English at 35 WPM or Hindi at 30 WPM.

How the score works
A full mistake counts as one and a half mistake counts as half. Those are taken off before your speed is worked out. Missed and repeated words are counted in groups. The result screen shows you the counted mistakes and the deductions behind your score. The score cannot fall below zero.
Typing tips
A wrong word is not worth going back for. Correction keys behave the way the table above describes, so stopping to fight one word costs you more than the word is worth. Check the result screen afterwards to see what actually went wrong.
- The browser uses standard words and full/half error units here. Compare your result with the formula shown.
- Review mistakes after the attempt. This site has not verified the live-feedback behaviour of the official BSSC software.
How to practise for the BSSC typing test
Before a full mock, check that the keyboard does what you expect. Type a few Hindi words you can read confidently, including a short-i matra, a half-letter and a number, then compare the characters on screen against the layout chart. The word "Mangal" on a screen does not identify the arrangement.
Once that works, copy a sentence containing those words without looking at the chart. Stop if you are guessing every combination: look up one sequence, drill it, come back to the sentence. A timed test is a bad place to find out you have been learning a different map.
When you find the keyboard instruction, save the document and note its page number, and keep the advertisement number beside it. A screenshot cropped above the recruitment heading is easy to mistake for a different cycle.
Our BSSC profile was compiled from secondary coaching sources, and no primary skill-test notice was read for its timer, correction policy or scoring. Until those are confirmed, describe the session in your notes by the layout you actually used rather than calling it a BSSC mock.

English practice uses QWERTY. For Hindi you can pick Mangal Remington GAIL. Check the layout named in your own exam notice before learning the keys.

What targets does this practice test use?
The app uses 35 WPM English and 30 WPM Hindi Mangal Remington. These are coaching-material numbers, not a confirmed BSSC figure.
How do correction keys work here?
All the correction keys stay on during the attempt. That includes Backspace. This is a simulator choice. BSSC's own software has not been checked for its behaviour.
Are these settings confirmed for my recruitment?
No. A primary BSSC Inter Level notice was not read for this combination. The interface and language order remain open questions. So does how typing marks feed into merit. This page does not answer those points.
