What Testbook typing tests offers
The SSC series page shows 15-minute CGL/CHSL-pattern tests: 2 free demos, then the full 44-test series behind a Testbook Pass Pro subscription. It states SSC speed benchmarks (35 WPM English, 30 WPM Hindi) and lists deduction categories, but typing itself is English only — Hindi appears only as the exam's speed requirement. It is part of Testbook's much larger exam-prep platform (mock tests, PYQs, live classes), not a standalone typing tool, and is available on web and app.

Where each one is worth a look
Testbook typing tests. Best if you already use Testbook for broader SSC exam prep and want typing practice bundled into the same subscription.
Sarkari Exam Typing. Best if you want one scoring formula per exam, sourced to the actual notice, rather than one general formula applied to every test. Runs in the browser everywhere, with an offline Windows app when you need it.
Soni Typing Tutor. Best if you want a fully offline desktop tutor and do not need per-exam rules — a general typing tutor with a large bundled exercise set, not an exam simulator.
TypingWale. Best if content-while-you-type matters to you: its passages are drawn from syllabus and PYQ material, and it covers Android alongside browser and Windows. It does not offer Punjabi.
TypingBaba. Best as a free, no-signup tool box — converters, keyboards and tutor lessons in one place — rather than an exam-day rehearsal; it does not model any exam's scoring.
A typing series or a no-account starter test?
Check the language and duration on the particular test card. A broader course subscription may cover more than typing; compare the parts you will actually use before paying.
Try the format before choosing access
